Company

Financial intelligence infrastructure for regulated institutions.

ChainGuard validates digital-asset activity before financial execution. It connects blockchain intelligence, customer compliance, Travel Rule, banking decisions, evidence and operational controls in one institutional workflow.

What we build

ChainGuard is built for regulated financial institutions that need to trace funds, apply banking policy and control execution around crypto deposits, withdrawals and wallet onboarding, with every material decision explainable and evidenced.

How we deploy

Each institution runs a dedicated deployment with its own isolated database, secrets, network access and policy. That deployment is governed by the institution’s own users, roles and controls. Nothing is pooled across institutions.

Operating principles

Four positions that decide how the product is built.

State the limit, not the marketing claim

The platform states where a trace breaks, attribution remains uncertain or data is missing. A confident answer that cannot be defended is worse than an honest gap.

The decision is the product

Signals and scores are inputs. What an institution needs is a decision it can explain, under a policy version it controls, with the evidence attached.

Compliance does not move money

A compliance outcome and an operational execution are separate events, separately controlled. The platform never conflates the two.

Every network on its own terms

Bitcoin is an unspent-output ledger; the account-based networks are not. Modelling them identically produces convenient software and wrong conclusions.

Scope

What we do, and what we deliberately do not.

The boundary matters more than the feature list. These are the lines the platform does not cross.

  • Trace, attribute, evaluate and decideExecute financial movement
  • Prepare regulatory dossiersFile with a regulator on your behalf
  • Record and retain evidenceCertify or attest your compliance programme
  • Run a dedicated deployment per institutionPool institutions in shared tenancy

Bitcoin and unspent-output ledgers

Value moves as spent and newly created outputs rather than account balances. ChainGuard reads input and output context, excludes observed change from outgoing transfer records, and builds a bounded address graph from monitored-wallet activity.

  • Input/output context
  • Address graph
  • Change-output handling
  • Confirmation depth

Ethereum and account-based networks

Value moves between persistent accounts and contracts. ChainGuard resolves native and token transfers, contract interactions, bridge and decentralised-exchange routing, and attributes counterparties across the account graph on each supported network.

  • Account graph
  • Token transfers
  • Contract interaction
  • Bridge and swap routing
